Former Governor of Ogun State, Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has extended his warm congratulations to Chief Chris Funlola Okunowo on his appointment as the Asiwaju of Ijebu Christians.

The appointment of Chief Okunowo follows the passing of the late Otunba Subomi Balogun, whose legacy as a spiritual leader in Ijebuland remains unmatched. Senator Daniel expressed confidence that Okunowo would uphold and build on this illustrious legacy.
