There is an ongoing forceful ejection of land owners and residents in Ifo area of Ogun state.
This development is attributed to the action of armed soldiers and caterpillars that stormed the community known as Ilepa area.
The individuals identified as government agents are said to have commenced demolition of occupied and unoccupied buildings.

Witnesses confirmed to societynowng.com that the area is currently a bedlam.
‘Chaos has taken over the place…there is confusion everywhere…but one thing is apparent, owners of the homes already razed and the ones ear marked for demolition are keen to save what they could from the situation’ an eye witness divulged.

And continued early in the morning of today Saturday September 5 2015.

Investigation conducted by societynowng revealed the forceful take over via demolition is the fallout of an eight day notice given by the federal government.
Investigation by societynowng.com revealed that home owners and the government have been at each other over issue of re possessing the land for about five years.
The government was aid to have taken over the land from the indigenous owner during the regime of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
Societynowng.com could not confirm the specific time acquisition.
The former president’s name is being bandied about as the force behind the latest land recovery twist.
Sources claimed some 250 acres of land is at stake.
