Don Jazzy Shuns Senator Ben Bruce’s For Plea For A Special Performance At 60th Birthday Bash As He Sneaked Out Leaving Ex Partner Stranded On Stage

Emerging details reveal a drama played out at the much anticipated 60th birthday bash of Senator Ben Bruce.
And right at the centre of it all were former partners Dbanj and Don Jazzy

Remember that popular refrain that Dbanj used in many of his songs?It’s Don Jazzy again!, it seems the top producer is never far off from controversy.

Two months ago it was his spat with Olamide that made headlines now it is his seeming snub of his former Partner Dbanj at the 60th birthday party of Mr. Common Sense, Senator Ben Murray Bruce held in Lagos last night.

The event which has been promoted heavily for the past few months was filled with stars in entertainment, business and politics but the biggest moment was when Dbanj was called on stage and after a few minutes, Senator Murray-Bruce personally requested Don Jazzy and Dbanj to perform a duet for him like the old days.
The Chairman of Silverbird Entertainment Group, pleaded: “Please do this for me, it is my birthday request.”

The hall went silent as everyone waited anxiously to see Don Jazzy emerge but they may as well have been waiting for Godot because like Godot, Don Jazzy never showed up.It seemed the Don had sneaked out of the hall.

It was therefore an embarrased Dbanj like a lover boy stood up at an important date,with his head bowed, what saved the situation as he promised a collaboration between himself and Don Jazzy.

He stated “Sir, I have given serious consideration to this. Before I came on stage, I went to Don Jazzy and asked him to join me on stage. If he (Don Jazzy) gives me a beat today, the song will be ready the next day.”

So Dbanj confirmed to everyone that it was Don Jazzy that messed up the night!
