Pastor Emmanuel Mobiyina Bilehou Oschoffa, the Spiritual and Administrative Head of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) Worldwide, has addressed growing rumours surrounding his succession, warning members against manipulation and power play within the church.

In a statement issued from the church’s Imeko headquarters, Oschoffa said there was no truth to claims that he had named or signed any document designating a successor. He stressed that the church is guided by divine revelation and not by hereditary or clan-based succession.

“The Celestial Church of Christ is a Church of revelation and obedience to the divine will. No country, no family, no man has the supreme authority. This Church is placed under the high authority of our Lord Jesus Christ,” he said.

He reminded members that just as God chose the church’s founder, Prophet S.B.J. Oschoffa, and later himself, leadership in the church remains a divine decision. Any document or declaration suggesting a designated successor, he added, is “null, of no effect and of no consequence before God and the Celestial Church of Christ.”

Quoting scripture, he urged members to shun manipulations, remain prayerful, and focus on unity, peace, and progress. “It is neither by power nor by force, but by my spirit, said the Lord,” he added.

Oschoffa called on faithfuls to resist attempts at schism or power struggles and to remain committed to the indivisibility of the Celestial Church of Christ in line with its constitution. He prayed for continued peace and divine guidance for the church and its members worldwide.

The message was circulated by Alagba Kayode Ajala, Director of Media and Publicity, MPIC, CCC Worldwide.
