Baby Boom In Borno Displaced Persons Camps With 3000 Births Recorded In 6Months

There is a case of baby boom in Internally Displaced Persons camps in Borno state.

About 3000 births have been recorded within the last 6 months according to official sources.

The births were reportedly recorded at various camps located in the state capital between the month of January and June 2017.

Chairman of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Satomi Ahmed made the disclosures to the News Agency of Nigeria.

He confirmed the births show signficant increase compared to the numbers of couples in the camps.
