Ex- Governor Ganduje’s Staunch Ally Arrested

over an alleged N1Billion fraud, he has denied the allegation.

An ally of the former Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje has been arrested.

He is identified as Idris Wada Saleh, the commissioner for works when Ganduje was governor.

The former commissioner was arrested by the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti – Corruption Commission on Monday over an alleged N1Billion fraud, he has denied the allegation.

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that Saleh a known staunch supporter of former Governor Ganduje was arrested along with five others.

According to information monitored by SocietyNow.Ng on Dailytrust.com, the others person arrested along with the former commissioner include Permanent Secretary, Public Procurement Bureau, Mustapha Madaki Huguma, Director of Finance, Director of Research and Planning.

The arrested persons are said to be in custody as part of ongoing investigation with talks of appearance in court decorating the development.

Idris Saleh who has denied the N1Billion fraud allegation reportedly doubled as the Managing Director, Kano Road Maintenance Agency (KARMA) when he was in office.
