House Of Rep Member, Abiodun Akinlade’s Marriage Threatened Over Romance With Ogun Legislator, Adijat Adeleye

There is an uneasy calm behind the joy that decorated the family of Federal House of Representatives member, Abiodun Akinlade on Saturday November 26 2011.

He gave out his daughter, Morenikeji Nasirat out in marriage on that day.

The event was held at Sentosa Garden, Apo Legislative Quarters.

Investigations conducted revealed that behind the allure of good things and well wishes showcased to the world lies the reality of a threatened marriage.

The federal lawmaker is said to be experiencing grave threats to his marriage over allegation of a hidden romance with Ogun State House of Assembly member, Adijat Adeleye.

Adeleye, said to be undergoing the aches of a stormy session in her matrimonial life, is widely identified as a key political and social associate of Akinlade.

He explained that ‘My home is intact… I have a perfect home… Hon Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye Oladapo is my very good friend and Confidant’

Insiders however differ with him on the claim of ‘a perfect home’.

Sources alleged that his wife has become estranged with Adijat over the romance issue. The two women were said to be very good friends

Their relationship was said to be such that Mrs Akinlade made nothing of her husband’s constant political and social appearances, hand in hand with Adijat- before the whiff of romance between the duo filtered in.

Mrs Akinlade is said to shun such engagements because of her religious views.

She reportedly viewed such appearances as ‘a necessity of their political activities’

Adijat is widely credited with helping Akinlade to attain great relevance in and out of office in Ogun state- she co-ordinates his political activities in the state..

Her contribution to Akinlade’s success was one of the factors that boosted her friendship with the wife.
