TB Joshua, Engineers Shun Court in Trial Over Collapse Synagogue 6 Storey Building
…Case moved to Dec 11
Against all expectations popular pastor, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua shunned court appearance.
Same for the engineers that handled the collapse six storey building of his church Synagogue Church of all Nations.
The church board of trustees and the engineers are pencilled for trial in the tragic event that resulted in over one hundred lives and injuries to countless others.
Prophet TB Joshua as fondly called is a member of the board of trustees.

The trial is expected to begin today Monday November 30 2015.
Information filtering out revealed that Only one member of the Board of Trustees was present in court.
The Presiding Judge, Justice Akapo Lawal, was said to have expressed his dissatisfaction with the development.
He reportedly stated “It appears the defendants are not mindful that this is a criminal proceeding.
“This is a criminal trial and a sensitive matter like this one should be given accelerated hearing.”
The Presiding judge ordered the defence team to provide the court with the engineers’ addresses within 72 hours and adjourned the case till December 11.
A Coroner, Oyetade Komolafe, had found the church guilty as the verdict indicated that the collapse was due to structural failures.
Komolafe recommended that the church should be prosecuted as the six-storey building did not have the requisite construction permit of the Lagos State Government.
Komolafe’s verdict came on refusal of Prophet T.B Joshua’s refusal to appear before his panel all through it’s sitting, despite threats of invasion of his Ikotun, Egbe based church by security operatives to effect his arrest by the panel.
