Leading Contender Ruled Out Of Race To Determine Abiodun’s Successor As Gov
dubbed the most preferred person by President Bola Tinubu
The person to beat for all other aspirants is out of the race to determine the successor to Governor of Ogun state, Dapo Abiodun.
Worlds filtering out of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has it that Wale Edun, the MInister for Finance is no longer in contention.
Edun was dubbed the most preferred person by President Bola Tinubu for the number one job in Ogun state until the latest twist.
Although no clear reason has been provided by spreading claims about the ‘ longer in consideration”claims regarding Edun and the race to determine the next Governor of Ogun state – the standouts are that he has expressed his lack of interest and that the President requires him to be in place as part of efforts to prosper Nigeria.

In his sixties, Edun as the nationś coordinating minister for economy is playing a bedrock role in President Tinubu’s spirited efforts to boost the country’s fortune.
While claims he was the leading contender in the race to determine the next Governor raged, the MInister serving in the federal government as a representative from Ogun state stayed aloof from the talks and related drama.
