President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the management and staff of Kresta Laurel Limited on the 35th anniversary of the indigenous elevator and escalator company.

Tinubu described the firm, which has its headquarters in Lagos and branches in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Uyo, as well as a zonal office in Ibadan, as a model of enterprise discipline and resilience.

“The company’s longevity could only have come from resilience, effective management, and sound business practices,” the president said.

He noted that Kresta Laurel’s recognition with the African Order of Merit in Cranes, Escalators, and Elevator Technology underscored its leadership position in the sector.

He also recalled the company’s support in 1999 when it provided space for him and his transition team to put together the technocratic cabinet that steered the affairs of Lagos from May of that year.

“I thank Kresta Laurel for its support and unwavering belief in the Nigerian market,” Tinubu said.

The president congratulated Senator Gbenga Daniel, chairman of the board of directors of Kresta Laurel, on the milestone.

“I celebrate Senator Gbenga Daniel and wish the business more success and many remarkable anniversaries,” he added.
