In Ogun state, there is a growing talk.

Except something out of this world happens, the Gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and his followers already have a fair idea of their fate in tomorrow’s election.

Kashamu’s goes into the extremely intense contest with a vastly depleted rank.

Former governor Gbenga Daniel, the most formidable force in PDP in Ogun state has thrown his weight being Dapo Abiodun, the governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Ladi Adebutu, who fiercely fought for the PDP gubernatorial ticket in Ogun state until a Supreme Court Judgment affirmed Kashamu as the legally recognized candidate has crossed to the side of Allied People’s Movement’s Adekunle Akinlade, the preferred successor of Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

Though Abiodun appears to have gotten a better end of the stick in the depletion of Kashamu’s support base with the PDP officially disowning Adebutu’s partnership with Amosun to make APM’s Akinlade next governor of Ogun state.

Societynow.ng’s investigation revealed that Kashamu seriously needs the taken away support by Daniel and Adebutu to make an impact in Saturday’s gubernatorial election.

Societynow.ng’s digs revealed that to compound Kashamu’s political woes, he goes into the gubernatorial election fighting the perception that the ruling APC is now the popular party in his stronghold.

The APC won Kashamu’s senatorial district in the recently held National Assembly election societynow.ng gathered.

‘’I guess it is all these factors that the street is adding together to make up the talk, Kashamu and his deputy Reuben Abatti already know their fate in the tomorrow’s election’’ source stated.
