The minister-designates are Wale Edun (Ogun Central), Bosun Tijani (Ogun East) and Ishiaq Salako (Ogun West).
According to those who should know, Edun was handpicked by President Bola Tinubu, Salako sponsored by Senator representing Ogun West – Solomon Adeola while Bosun Tijani’s nomination predominantly has Senator Daniel’s fingerprints all over it.
Further findings revealed that Edun has been a personal friend of Senator Daniel for many years, Salako was his appointee as a second term Governor of Ogun state while he is father figure and mentor to Tijani.
