Tonye Cole is a frontline member of the Amaechi political family and emerged as the APC gubernatorial candidate for the March 18, 2023, gubernatorial election based on the goodwill of the former minister.
He stoutly stuck with Amaechi in snubbing everything that has to do with President Tinubu and the mainstream APC until now.
His picture with APC National Secretary Basiru is throwing all manners of speculations about the state of his rapport with Amaechi.
