Tinubu Wins APC Presidential Ticket With 1,271 Votes, Osinbajo Got 235

postured as the fiercest challenger

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has won the presidential ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

He won by a landslide despite the social media tension that heralded the election.

Tinubu got 1,271 votes at the APC presidential primary election held at Eagles Square Abuja while Rotimi Amaechi polled a distant second with 316 votes.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, postured as the fiercest challenger on social media scored 235 votes.

The other aspirant with a noticeable showing, Senate President Ahmed Lawan got 152 votes.

Fiery preacher Tunde Bakare did not get any vote same with embattled former Governor Rochas Okorocha.
