Ally Tells Why Amaechi Drastically Cut Down On Public Appearances

An ally of the former minister for transportation Rotimi Amaechi has cut down on his public appearances.

Amaechi also a former governor of Rivers State lost out in the race to become the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 election to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Amaechi came a distant second with 316 votes while Tinubu polled 1,271 votes at the presidential primary which was held at Eagles Square Abuja in June 2022.

Amaechi had drastically cut down on his public appearances since then amid raging speculations.

“Seeing the much energy and efforts Amaechi has put in achieving the much he has done for Nigeria, he needs rest and he is enjoying the rest that this occasion has provided for him. At least for the last sixteen years, Amaechi had no time for his family and friends so he is using this opportunity to rediscover himself as a family man.” Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, an ally of the presidential aspirant stated in a statement available to SocietyNow.Ng

I have the full approval of the former Minister to describe the cocktail of lie spreading like wildfire…” Eze declared in the statement regarding talks Amaechi is planning to leave the APC over issues centered around the inability to get the APC presidential ticket.
