The trouble with the campaign of gubernatorial hopeful Ladi Adebutu is increasing by the day.

After fierce entanglements with supporters and party leaders shredding his support base, sources disclose that man who looks prime to take the People’s Democratic Party ticket as the candidate in Ogun state has now locked horns with his father.

Father and son are said to be in dispute over who officially handles the gubernatorial campaign.

While billionaire Kessington is pushing for former Governor Gbenga Daniel to oversee the affair, his son wants to personally prosecute the campaign.

The elder Adebutu is earmarked to provide the funds.

Sources disclosed that Kessignton has gone as far as to inform Ex-Governor Daniel of his desire.

And urged the former two-term state Chief Executive Officer to help map out a campaign strategy to actualize the gubernatorial dream.

But Ladi is ferociously kicking against this agenda.

He is said to be insisting he is in a better position to oversee things.

The development is said to have created a stalemate between father and son with Kessignton threatening to pull the plug on the funding of the election.
