Except there is an immediate change of heart information available has it that former Governor Gbenga Daniel has withdrawn support for the gubernatorial ambition of Ladi Adebutu.

“The former governor told Ladi in clear terms he doesn’t want to have anything to do with his ambition to become the next Governor of Ogun state again” an insider disclosed.

Societynow.ng learned this development comes after the gubernatorial aspirant’s father Kessington Adebutu approached the former Governor to help oversee his son’s gubernatorial campaign.

But Ladi fiercely kicked against the move.

“He now went as far as going behind his father’s back to calling Otunba (Daniel) that he should disregard his father’s proposition that he (Ladi) would provide him with some fund to help him whatever ways possible” a source disclosed.

The former Governor reportedly felt insulted and told him in clear terms that his conduct was rude and “unbecoming” of someone with or without his aspirations.

“Daniel was angry and told him because he isn’t in it for the money and everything appears about the money to Ladi, he doesn’t want to have anything to do with his ambition again” societynow.ng learned.

“In fact, Daniel told him point blank that someone that would make a good governor doesn’t relate like that” another source disclosed.

Added revelation has it that Ladi Adebutu’s billionaire father is trying to make the former Governor have a change of heart.

This is also as the gubernatorial aspirant is sticking to his gun of personally overseeing his gubernatorial campaign.

Interestingly Billionaire Kessignton Adebutu holds the purse to his son’s campaign.

Checks revealed the action that resulted in Otunba Daniel pulling his support for Ladi’s Gubernatorial ambition crowns a series of political missteps by the aspirant against the former governor and other leaders of his People’s Democratic Party.

“Daniel just joined the growing list of those pulling out from support for Ladi’s ambition” a source summed up the situation.
