Insiders have reacted to emerging claims of a seething quarrel between best friends, Musiliu Akinsanya and Mustapha Adekunle.

Akinsanya famously popular as MC Oluomo and Adekunle also known as Seego along with a third player – Kudety (Sulaimon Ojora) are firmly in control of the transport union in Lagos state.

They recently emerged major influences at the national level of the NURTW on the back of the passionate roles they played in the electoral victory that made Bola Tinubu President of Nigeria.

And are now doused in talks of a bitter quarrel and planned upending.

“The truth about the talks of a quarrel between Seego and MC Oluomo is that there is nothing to them. They remain mere talks by people blowing smoke to see if they can start a fire of discord” a source disclosed.

“Some people are just being mischievous and profiteers seeking to exploit the situation are fueling the baseless claims” the insiders insist.

According to added information, there was an arrangement for Seego to take over as the Chairman of the high-value Lagos state chapter of the NURTW when MC Oluomo declared interest in succeeding Ibikunle Baruwa as National President.

The arrangement was the result of the need to put someone very trustworthy in charge of Lagos – their claim to fame – once MC Oluomo becomes the National President.

The decision was a joint one by the three of them – MC Oluomo, Seego and Kudety sources say.

“And it remains binding even though MC Oluomo shelved his ambition to secure a second term as the Lagos NURTW Chairman” according to those in the know.

MC Oluomo’s return as the Chairman of the Lagos NURTW keeps Seego in the position of Treasurer and Kudety as Vice Chairman – a development that insiders labeled “temporary”.
