“Sego, My Boy – PBAT”, New Lagos NURTW Chairman Celebrates Closesness To Tinubu

Mustapha Adekunle, the new chairman of the Lagos state chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers is celebrating closeness to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The transport union boss popularly known by the street name Seego was a recent guest at the Presidential villa, along with some of his colleagues – including immediate past Lagos NURTW Chairman, MC Oluomo (Musiliu Akinsanya).

Seego who took over from MC Oluomo on March 4, 2024, after a testy face-off that strained their years of friendship shared pictures of his encounter with President Bola Tinubu at the nation’s seat of power.

“Sego, my boy…..PBAT” he postured President Tinubu as saying in one of the pictures along with the quote “My leader’s wisdom is the cornerstone of my triumphs.”

The former Treasurer of the NURTW during the tenure of MC Oluomo also added the narrative ” Asiwaju Akanbi’ Baba Oluwaseyi (Seyi’s father)…

“Thank you for being a leader who listens, understands, and supports us through every endeavour.” to the pictures he posted on social media on March 21, 2024.

MC Oluomo who was at the meeting was not featured in the pictures released by Seego.

They are both members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and fought many battles together to remain relevant, take control of the Lagos state chapter of the NURTW, and vigorously campaigned for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to become President before the issue of succession strained their relationship.
