Seego Officially Takes Over From MC Oluomo As Lagos NURTW Chairman, Tells Plan

Mustapha Adekunle, the transport union boss known as Seego has been sworn in as the Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos state.

He took over from Musiliu Akinsanya the famous NURTW top shot otherwise known as MC Oluomo today, February 4, 2024.

The development ends weeks of tension heightened by MC Oluomo’s not abiding by declaration to step down for Seego at the end of Januart 2024.

Seego shares his plan after he assumed official today in a narrative that reads…

I humbly assume the esteemed position of State Chairman of the National Union of Road Transportation Workers, Lagos State Chapter. 

With a profound sense of responsibility and dedication, I embark on this journey, guided by the principles of integrity, transparency, and service to our esteemed members and the state at large.

As I step into this role, I am profoundly grateful for the trust and confidence vested in me by the members of our esteemed union. 

I recognize the weight of this responsibility, and i pledge to uphold the highest standards of leadership, ensuring that the interests of the commuters and our members are protected and advanced.

Under my tenure, I commit to fostering unity, harmony, and cooperation among all stakeholders within the transportation sector.

Together, we will work tirelessly to address the challenges facing our industry, striving for innovation and excellence in service delivery.

I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the outgoing leadership for their dedication and contributions to the union.

I am committed to advancing our union’s mission and vision, promoting the welfare and prosperity of our members.

As I assume office, I seek the guidance and blessings of the Almighty God. 

May His divine wisdom and guidance accompany me throughout my tenure, enabling me to serve with humility, fairness, and compassion.

In conclusion, I call upon all members of the National Union of Road Transportation Workers (Lagos State Chapter) to join hands with me in our collective pursuit of progress and prosperity.

Together, let us chart a course towards a brighter future for our union and the communities we serve.
