Societynow.ng learned that there is no tension but just boasts and bragging in Ogun state head of the Saturday, September 14, 2019 election tribunal judgment in the gubernatorial dispute between Adekunle Akinlade and Dapo Abiodun.

Akinlade of the Allied People’s Movement is challenging the electoral victory of Governor Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress.

The tribunal headed by Justice Yusuf Halilu scheduled judgment for Saturday after heated debates on both sides.

However, despite the intimidating profile of the backers that helped him to secure victory with less than 20,000 votes – Governor Abiodun (and his crew) has lost out in all the federal appointments made regarding Ogun state to the ‘’superior influence’’ of Amosun in the presidency.

The federal appointments have buoyed the confidence of Akinlade’s supporters of a possible favorable outcome in the tribunal’s judgment on Saturday with Governor Abiodun’s supporters insisting ‘’it is impossible’’.

‘’The supporters and sympathizers on both sides are naturally boasting of victory and bragging about securing upper hand on Saturday on the streets, but there is no tension’’ societynow.ng learned
