Marriott Hotel Ikeja is truly a huge money gulping venture for the billionaire owner,Taiwo Afolabi the investigation conducted by societynow.ng’s reporter has showed.

The outcome of the investigation specifically revealed Marriott Hotel Ikeja to be a N50 billion investment.

Marriot Hotel is the under construction hospitality haven with billionaire Taiwo Afolabi as chief promoter.

And Government Reserve Area Ikeja Lagos – with Oba Akinjobi and Joel Ogunnaike as the access points – is the location of multi million dollars hotel.

The dollar equivalent of sifax boss’ investment is calculated to be approximately $143 million.

Mr Afolabi through sifax group – his claim to fame – actually commenced development of the hospitality spot with a ground breaking ceremony in 2014.

Further investigation conducted by societynow.ng showed the world class hotel is sitting on 7,000 square metre area of land.

The fast taking shapes 7 storey hotel apparently giving the Sifax Group CEO great joy boasts of 251 rooms and a rooftop club/bar.

Other leisure features include a spa, gym, fitness club as well as an outdoor swimming pool and deck area.

A source who had the opportunity to move around the facility disclosed the interior among other finishing fixtures to be out of this world.

There are indications the hospitality centre will be delivered before the second quarter of 2019.
