The relationship between Orji Uzor Kalu and his protégé Chima Anyaso is troubled.

And despite efforts to patch things up, it appears the center can longer hold again.

And at stake in the troubled relationship is the Multi-Billion Naira business relationship between the duo.

Chima is fingered as the business mask of the former governor of Abia state in certain mega deals – and money making sectors – while posing as the owner of this and those business entities.

One of the business concerns is Anyaso’s claim to fame Ceecon Energy Oil and Gas.

The fresh revelation has it that Kalu owns 70% of the company formerly believed to be solely owned by Anyaso.

Anyaso was forced to reveal Kalu’s stake in the Ceecon in the face of a massive image denting campaign.

Ceecon – and Anyaso – is currently in court over a N2billion indebtedness to Guaranty Trust Bank.

Details of the case are slanted in ways that portray Anyaso as a bad debtor.

Anyaso publicly named Kalu as the owner of 70% stake in Ceecon in the bid to rope the former governor into the debt mess.

Kalu and Anyaso are currently at odds over who occupies the Federal House of Representatives seat of Bende Federal Constituency, Abia state.

The former governor is backing Benjamin Kalu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress against Anyaso – the flag bearer of the People’s Democratic.

Societynow.ng confirmed that Anyaso’s camp believes that the N2billion indebtedness story is part of a smear campaign orchestrated by Kalu and his backers.

The development naturally made nonsense of the corporate integrity of Ceecon Energy Oil and Gas limited on the altar of an intense fight for political power.

The fight was said to have erupted after Anyaso refused to jettison his political ambition based on the whims of the former Governor.

The business front is said to have sided with known opponents of Kalu to achieve his ambition.

The development reportedly – endlessly -peeved Kalu and sparked off the investment wrecking fight between them.

There are, however, those who are of the opinion that disagreement over ‘’sharing of business proceeds’’ actually transformed into power fight as Anyaso sought to assert his independence from his godfather.
