Ogun claimed that the impeachment move is as a result of the Senate President’s biase

A member of the House of Representatives claims the process to impeach Ahmad Lawan as the Senate President has started.

The federal lawmaker Sergius Ogun representing Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency the disclosure during an appearance on Arise News television station today – May, 17, 2021.

Ogun claimed that the impeachment move is as a result of the Senate President’s biase.

He defined the bias as the Senate President’s disagreement with southern Governors call for restructuring of the country.

The House of Representatives member asserted that Lawan only criticizes Governors from a section of the country and this is proof that Lawan is not fit to hold the position of the number 3 citizen of the country.

“We don’t need people that express their bias in that way and manner. This number three figure they call them have a way of deceiving them. How can a leader at a time like this, who should be bringing people together be speaking like that? We don’t need people like that. I think he should go and i’m sure the process has started”. the lawmaker representing Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency insisted.
