The Oba of Benin, Eheneden Erediauwa Ewure 11 has a new baby – a princess.

The Princess was birthed on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

But the palace of the Oba of Benin just announced this development – a month after.

A statement signed by Frank Irabor, Secretary, Benin Traditional Council, disclose that the prevailing situation at the time of the delivery of princes based on the #EndSars crisis occasioned the silence surrounding the birth.

Societynow.ng, however, gathered that unmentioned is the added reason that the birth of a princess is not hurriedly announced.

The short announcement announcing the birth of the new baby of Oba of Benin reads in part “The Benin Traditional Council, on behalf of His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare 11, and the Royal Palace of Benin Kingdom, joyfully announces that her Royal Highness, Queen Owamagbe of Benin Kingdom, has been delivered of a baby girl.

“The infant princess and her mother are in excellent health and good spirit.

“It is our prayers that the princess will grow in good health, excellence and grace and that she shall be blessed by Almighty God,’’
