Barely Hours After Killing Of Popular Traditional Ruler, Gunmen Kidnap Wife Of Gov Akeredolu’s Chief Of Staff

Barely hours after the news of the killing of a popular traditional ruler in Ondo state made the round, information about the kidnap of the wife of the chief of staff to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has surfaced.

Societynow.ng gathered that the traditional ruler, Oba Adegoke Adeusi the Olufon of Ifon was killed yesterday night.

He was reportedly on his way back from a council of the traditional rulers meeting when he was abducted and reportedly killed in an attempt to escape the clutches of his abductors.

Emerging details revealed that same night, barely hours apart the wife of Mr Olugbenga Ale the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ondo State was kidnapped.

She remains in the clutches of her abductors since then according to the information at hand.

While the deceased traditional ruler was abducted and killed near his domain, Ifon – information available revealed that the wife of the Chief of Staff was abducted in Owena area.
