Details available to societynow.ng have revealed the real reason today’s(Sunday, September 30 2018) All Progressives Congress gubernatorial primary election in Lagos has been shifted to tomorrow, October 1 2018.

“It is for security reason” a source disclosed to societynow.ng.

Re-election seeking Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and former Commissioner Babajide Sanwoolu are poised to battle for the APC ticket in Lagos state.

Sanwoolu enjoys the support of the party leaders in Lagos state and has been officially adopted as the candidate of the Lagos state House of Assembly.

The Lagos Assembly took the decision with all 36 members present at the exercise voting in favour of adopting Sanwoolu.

The Lagos state House of Assembly is made up of 40 members.

Societynow.ng learned strong feelers supporters of the Governor are prepared to go all out to fight his cause against stronger forces forced a shift of the gubernatorial primary by the APC.
