The allegations have started springing up.

And at the centre of it all is Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

The Governor is facing “serious” allegations as the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial primary election holds in Ogun state today.

Amosun is accused of moves to use state might hijack the process in order to favour his gubernatorial aspirant, Adekunle Akinlade.

Dapo Abiodun, a major contender for the gubernatorial ticket raised the allegation of planned intimidation of voters by the Governor in a recently released statement by his campaign organization.

Wale Adedayo, a vocal party man backing another aspirant Jimi Lawal to win the party ticket leads the charge in accusation of monetary inducement of voters against the governor.

Adedayo made the allegation publicly on his Facebook page stating place and figures.

Societynow.ng confirms different versions of the allegations are already trending on multiple social media platforms.

The investigation by societynow.ng revealed that, to his credit, Amosun’s preferred candidate Akinlade didn’t wait on his hands for the Governor to make him the party’s gubernatorial candidate.
