Emerging details have it that popular Prophet Dele Ogundipe better known as Genesis is leveraging on his imprisonment.

The shepherd at the Christian ministry known as Genesis Global International was convicted for fraud on November 18, 2020, and sentenced to two years in imprisonment – a year each for the counts but to run concurrently – in the case that spanned 13 (Thirteen) years.

But details released by those close to him revealed he has not allowed his present situation to debar him from doing what he is known for.

According to information available to societynow.ng Ogundipe has staged two revivals for the spiritual benefits of some inmates of Kirikiri correctional center where he is serving his sentence.

A portion of the revelation released by Ogundipe’s sympathizers reads “It is amazing to know that in the last two months, a considerable number of inmates had attended two Christian revivals organized by Prophet Israel Ogundipe. According to information gathered, these revivals had over 600 inmates in attendance.”

The material in circulation by Ogundipe’s men is silent on the arrangement with the prison authority that enabled the staging of the “two revivals” by the popular prophet.

This information is being spread across different platforms to show that though incarcerated, Ogundipe remains committed to “saving souls for Christ”.

The popular prophet’s sympathizers refuse to agree he is guilty of the crimes he was sentenced for as they continue to peddle talks of a planned “appeal” to upturn the verdict while pushing out as many image cleansing materials as possible – including the latest – to contain the damage of his imprisonment.
