Politics Aside: Ladi Adebutu Appreciates Osinbajo, Osoba, Daniel, Abiodun & Others For Attending Dad’s 90th Birthday
of his father, Sir Kesington Adebukunola Adebutu
Ladi Adebutu, the Ogun politician and financier of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has expressed gratitude to dignitaries who attended the 90th birthday thanksgiving of his father, Sir Kesington Adebukunola Adebutu.

The event, held on Friday, October 24, drew family members, friends, political associates, and several high-profile guests from across party lines.
In a post shared on social media, Adebutu described his father as “a living legend, a testimony of resilience and grace,” while acknowledging those who joined the Adebutu family to celebrate the milestone.

“I thank God for Baba’s life and express my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who came to celebrate with us, particularly the Former Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Governor Dapo Abiodun, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, Senator Gbenga Daniel, Mama Bola Obasanjo, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, alongside other revered royal fathers and Spiritual Heads,” he wrote.

The thanksgiving attracted leading figures from both the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the PDP.
Among the attendees were Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Ex – Governors Olusegun Osoba and Gbenga Daniel, and thr incumbent Abiodun — all members of the APC.
Adebutu’s public appreciation caught the attention of political observers, given his long-standing rivalry with Abiodun, the incumbent governor of Ogun state. Despite their political differences, Adebutu’s tone was conciliatory, reflecting mutual respect across partisan lines.

Sir Kesington Adebutu, fondly referred to as “Baba Ijebu,” is a respected businessman and philanthropist whose contributions to social and economic development have earned him national recognition.
The thanksgiving service, attended by an array of political and spiritual leaders, was marked by moments of gratitude, prayers, and tributes celebrating the elder Adebutu’s life and legacy.
“May God continue to bless, protect, and guide us all,” Ladi Adebutu added.
