Steve Nwosu, the Deputy Managing Director at national publication, The Sun has cried out to kidnappers of his wife, Toyin to ‘please release her’

A distraught Nwosu made the plea against the backdrop of demand for N100M from the kidnappers before they let the media man’s heartthrob go.

Nwosu who spoke at his Ago Palace way, Okota Residence stated ‘I am a poor journalist and do not have the kind of money they are demanding’

The abductors had taken away Toyin, a mother of four in the presence of her family at about 2.00 am Monday September 14 2015.

The occurrence came to after they had reportedly robbed the neighbourhood for a while.

The kidnappers reportedly escaped in a boat via Amuwo canal in the area.

They later contacted the distressed family on Monday demanding a N100m before they release the abducted mother of four.

A sum the distraught husband is openly pleading with them that he does not have.

In a very touching disclosure the emotional wrecked husband and father said ‘I have left everything to God. All I would say is that I am a poor journalist and do not have the kind of money they are demanding’

He further revealed that ‘Apart from yesterday’s (Monday) contact they established with me, the abductors of my wife have not made any other calls.
“At the moment, it is deadlocked and they have refused to cooperate’

Meanwhile the police are said to have increased efforts towards apprehending those behind the sad tale – and rescuing the mother cold heartedly pierced away from her husband and children.
