One of the highlights was the exhibition of a strong bond among the trio of Colonel Duro Oyebanjo (rtd), the father of famous singer D’Banj (Dapo Oyebanjo); Muyiwa Oladipo, former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly; and SK Onafowokan, the Asiwaju of Remoland.
The trio are members of the prestigious Sagamites Club.

They deployed years of friendship to play a frontline role in the activities that spotlighted the social organization at the talk-of-the-town event, which saw sons and daughters of Remoland gather to celebrate their heritage.
Observers say the closeness they exhibited was alluring to behold.

Their close ties were described as one of the pleasant sights at the occasion, which paraded the best of fashion and style

and role models across different strata of life in Remoland, including Governor Dapo Abiodun, casino king Kessington Adebutu, Senator Gbenga Daniel, and Ladi Adebutu, the power behind the main opposition party in Ogun State.

The event, which had Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas as Chairman,

attracted guests such as Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu.

The paramount ruler, Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi,

was the chief host of the event, which has been earmarked for every December 27.
