Ladi Adebutu Showcases Lovey-Dovey Side
that his life does not solely revolve around politics
Oladipupo Adebutu, the power behind the main opposition political party in Ogun State simply known as Ladi Adebutu, showed that his life does not solely revolve around politics on Friday.
The Ogun State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chief sponsor attended the maiden edition of Remo Day with his wife, Adenike Adebutu.

“And he was all affectionate, exhibiting plenty of love and care for his wife as they navigated across different guests and groups,” according to sources.
The first of what is earmarked to be an annual event was held at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu, on Friday, December 27, 2024.

The event, which had Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abass, as Chairman, also featured Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as one of the high-profile guests.
Aimed at celebrating the spirit, culture, unity, and rich heritage of Remoland, as well as the achievements of its sons and daughters in far and near places, this year’s edition had the paramount ruler, Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, as chief host and Governor Dapo Abiodun as co-host.

Abiodun and Adebutu, who almost stopped the Governor from securing a second term in office—losing by less than 14,000 votes—are both from Iperu, a part of Remoland, Ogun East.
Although they remain passionate political adversaries, operating on different political platforms (Abiodun is All Progressives Congress, while Adebutu is People’s Democratic Party), they temporarily suspended their differences to honour their heritage at the first Remo Day celebration on Friday.
