Peep Into Plan To “Crush” Lagos Senator Adeola Yayi’s Political Ambition In Ogun

Societynow.ng gathered the plan to stop the political ambition of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola in Ogun state is intensifing.

Adeola better known as Yayi is the Senator representing Lagos West in the National Assembly.

Information at hand revealed that the 52year old politician with over 20years experience as a state and federal legislator in Lagos state wants to become the Senator representing Ogun West in 2023.

His “West 2 West” (Lagos West to Ogun West) campaign slogan is one of the most popular in Ogun State.

Credited as one of the enablers that got Governor Dapo Abiodun to power – with widespread claims of the administration’s support for his ambition -, Yayi faces major opposition, especially from those who see him as “overreaching”.

“His opponents are already exploring different ways to stop him and there are plenty talks about constitutional requirements in recent” Societynow.ng.

The chatter in the political circle in Ogun state, especially among those against the ambition of Senator Yayi is that his continued stay in Lagos state – and as a senator – has already pitched him against “certain requirements”.

“But when the time comes everything will be made known” is the theme of these trending talks.

The moves against Senator Yayi who is also decorated with talks of plan to succeed Governor Abiodun – after the latter’s planned second term – intensifies in the face of his growing acceptance in other quarters as defined by the “Aremo Yewaland Chieftaincy” title bestowed on him by Paramount ruler, Olu of Ilaro, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle.
