Over A Year After Assuming Office, Ogun Gov Dapo Abiodun Prefers To Travel 40mins Daily From His Private House To The Office Than Stay In Official Residence & Make Trips Of 5mins

Over a year after he assumed office, the Governor of Ogun State Dapo Abiodun has refused to move into the magnificent Government office in Ibara, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Societynow.ng learned the Governor prefers journeying from his Private residence in Iperu to the state capital, Abeokuta.

The journey is about 65.75k.m while the trip between the Government House and the Governor’s office in Oke ‘Mosan is about 5K.M.

‘’That is a trip of about 40minutes when the road is free compared to that of less than five minutes’’ a source pointed out.

Societynow.ng learned the Government which is the official residence of the Governor has been locked up since Abiodun took office on May 29, 2020.

Societynow.ng gathered that no official reason has been given for this development.

‘’But there are whispers of the development having to do with the spiritual under the cover of touted talks of the need for renovation by friends of the new administration’’ Societynow.ng learned.
