Dare Gbolahan, the once upon a time flamboyant council chairman in Ogun State is dead.

The politician popular called ‘’Serubawon’’ (Fearsome one) reportedly died a couple of days ago.

The former Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government reportedly died battling ill health.

Elected a council chairman during the tenure of former Governor Olusegun Obasa, the deceased was regarded as one of the strong men of the politics of Ogun State.

His reign as a council chairman was riddled with all shades of controversies including arrest and detention.
