Buruji Kashami obviously does not want to have anything to do with Ladi Adebutu.

And has made his position known.

The former Senator refused to attend a peace meeting he was invited to, Dayo Rufai, a grounded media man in local politics revealed in a recent social media post.

Ladi Adebutu

” The Ladi’s group organised a unification meeting few days back in Abeokuta, conspicuously absent were Buruji kasham, Engr Bayo Dayo and their key loyalists…” Rufai posted.

Adebutu initiated the peace move as part of his renewed effort to become the Governor of Ogun state societynow.ng learned.

His last effort was scuttled in the court room when Kashamu- who was also a gubernatorial candidate – secured judgment as the recognized faction of People’s Democratic Party in Ogun state.

Kashamu Buruji

This development was after Adebutu orchestrated the expulsion of Kashumu from the PDP by the National Working Committee of the party.

PDP unofficially ended up not contesting the last gubernatorial election in Ogun state as both Kashamu and Adebutu backed other candidates.

Obviously willing to put the past behind him as he plans for the future, Adebutu just made peace overture to Kashamu but the former Senator has refused the “olive branch” societynow.ng gathered.

Kashamu, backed by a favorable courting ruling, holds the ace at press time.

Societynow.ng, however, confirmed that “Kashamu initiated several peace moves in the past that was rebuffed by Adebutu because of his ‘over confidence ‘ that he doesn’t need kashamu as he thought the court ruling that knocked him out of the last gubernatorial election would favor him.”
