No End In Sight As Ladi Adebutu, Kashamu Buruji’s War Gets Messier!

There is no end in sight in the sizzling war between Kashamu Buruji and Ladi Adebutu.

The estranged politician canceled out each other’s gubernatorial ambition in the last general election over refusal to reach a compromise over who becomes the official candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the last general election.

While Adebutu was adopted by the party at the national level, the court ordered the agency in charge of the election – Independent National Electoral Commission – to recognize Kashamu as the official candidate.

Kashamu and Adebutu ended up throwing weights behind the candidates of other parties in the election.

Societynow.ng gathered that an attempt to reconcile the two politicians was initiated by leaders of their party after the election but recent happening indicates peace is far from near in the raging fight.

Reason?

Kashamu Buruji just made a major offensive against something extremely dear to Ladi Adebutu.

Buruji has written to the anti-corruption agency Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)alleging a N5million tax fraud against Premier Lotto, the major income earner and claim to fame of the Adebutu family.

Better known as Baba Ijebu Lotto, Premier Lottery is widely acknowledged as the status enabler of Billionaire Kessington Adebutu, the patriarch of the Adebutu family and major sponsor of the gubernatorial ambition of his son Ladi Adebutu.

The petition by Kashumu Buruju who owns rival business Western Lotto has resulted in the arrest and detention of Ladi’s brother Segun – a management staff at Premier Lotto.

The arrest and detention of Segun Adebutu is part of the EFCC’s investigation into the N5billion tax fraud allegation made by Kashamu against the lottery business owned and run by the Adebutus.

Societynow.ng\s checks revealed that on the streets of Ogun state, the move by Kashamu is interpreted as a bold play at crippling Ladi Adebutu by attacking his source of ‘’power’’.

The added revelation available revealed that this development has reignited the war between the Ladi Adebutu and Kashamu Buruji as their supporters and loyalists return to the ‘’trenches’’ discarding all attempts at making peace.
