Former Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun is serious about his presidential ambition.

“A clear indication of this is that he has dropped hints on who he wants to take over his current position ” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

Emerging details have it that Taiwo Adeoluwa is being positioned to become the next Senator for Ogun West by Amosun.

Adeoluwa served as the Secretary to the Ogun State Government (SSG) in the two terms of Amosun as the Governor (2011 to 2019).

The holder of a Masters Degree in Law from the University of Lagos is the first politician to hold a back-to-back position of SSG in Ogun State.

SocietyNow.Ng that while Amosun is preparing Adeoluwa as successor with a strong conviction his presidential ambition will become reality, two other challengers for the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the same opposition have sprung up in the rival faction headed by Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Former occupier Lanre Tejuosho – the son of Oba Adedapo Tejuosho – wants a return to the Senate and Salisu Afolabi Shuaib, the Chief of Staff to the Governor also wants to occupy the same position.

SocietyNow.Ng learned that “It is an open secret in the Amosun camp, Adeoluwa is the preferred successor if the Presidential ambition flies”.
