Gov Obiano Tells Why His Wife Wants To Become Senator

Willie Obiano, the Governor of Anambra State has revealed why his wife, Ebelechukwu wants to contest the 2023 Senatorial election.

Obiano says the move is to enable his wife to continue her “humanitarian services” to the people.

Ebelechukwu Obiano wants to become the Senator representing Anambra North in 2023.

The seat is occupied by Stella Oduah who first won it in 2015 and got re-elected in 2019.

Governor Obiano revealed the reason behind his wife’s senatorial ambition while addressing members of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra shortly after a tour to the Anambra International Conference Centre (AICC) and the state International Passenger/ Cargo Airport.
