Insiders revealed that is why bodies of movie makers have refused to take an official stand on the serial arrest of one of their  own Seun Kareem popularly known as Egbegbe for theft.

Egbegbe is known to the world as a movie producer, marketer and music promoter.

He became a celebrity when very popular actress Toyin Aimakhu now Abraham came to town with her romance with him on the back of her marriage beak up with actor Niyi Johnson.

Before Toyin’s publicity stunt – now haunting her career – the now infamous movie maker was a ‘’non entity’’ on the social space.

Egbegbe grabbed headlines when he caught on Tuesday November 22 2016, in attempt to make away with about nine Iphones in Computer Village, Ikeja – Lagos.

The traders had harassed and battered him before police came to take him away.

He was charged to court and just six days to his next appearance on the initial theft case, he was apprehended, beaten and handed over to the police in a ill fated move to defraud a money changer off $60,000.

The ”tragedy” befell him on Thursday February 2 2017.

Again the news grabbed headlines.

But in all this, the different movie maker bodies have maintained a huge silence.
