“Slowly but surely, the task of repositioning Nigeria is being done – industry by industry, sector by sector, project by project”. a top Presidential aide, Otega Ogra shared his position on the efforts by President Bola Tinubu to make Nigeria better.
Ogra, the Senior Special Assistant on Digital Communications to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu made the assertion on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, after the inauguration of three critical gas infrastructure projects.
President Tinubu inaugurated the three “milestone projects”, which are the AHL Gas Processing Plant; the ANOH Gas Processing Plant, and the 23.3km ANOH to Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben (OB3) Custody Transfer Metering Station Gas Pipeline, on Wednesday.
“The Nigerian Gas Masterplan and the foundations for the future of energy security in Nigeria is gradually taking shape. The benefits will remain long after our time and for future generations to keep enjoying.
“Thank you, President Bola Tinubu @officialABAT, “The Gas President”. Your background in the energy space is definitely an added advantage for us in Nigeria.”, Ogra wrote on social media X in reaction the development.”
The presidential aide also appreciated the role of NNPC Limited Group Executive Officer, Mele Kyari in making the projects a reality.
“Thank you and congratulations to @nnpclimited & GCEO, Mallam Mele Kyari @MKKyari for the work you still do despite the challenges” he applauded and added that “today’s commissioning of 3 major gas projects by NNPC Limited further proves that with the right will – political and otherwise, things can get done – for Nigeria, by Nigerians and for the benefit of all! “.
According to a statement released by the statehouse, President Tinubu asserted that his government remains determined in its bid to leverage the nation’s vast gas capacity to drive economic growth and commended “the strategic vision of the NNPC Limited and its partners, Sterling Oil Exploration & Energy Production Company Limited (SEEPCO) and Seplat Energy Plc, for this laudable and value-adding projects,”
