Lagos Senator Solomon Adeola’s Handlers Quietly Putting Arrangement In Place To Achieve Ogun Guber Ambition With Aremo Segun Osoba’s SDP Structure

Information filtering have it that the handlers of Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola are on the move.

And their mission is simple. To quietly oil the Social Democratic Party political structure of Aremo Segun Osoba into a formidable machine by 2019.

According to information available, the agenda is to ultimately use the political structure to execute the gubernatorial ambition of the Senator popularly known as Yayi.

The Senator representing Lagos state is said to be very much interested in becoming the next governor of Ogun state.

And he is said to be in deep consultations here and there to achieve his aim.

But he faces a huge hurdle.

Fellow party man and Incumbent Governor with all about All Progressives Congress in Ogun state firmly in his grip – Ibikunle Amosun is passionately against Senator Adeola’s ambition.

Amosun is said to be against all that Adeola represents.

The Lagos Senator seeking to become the next governor of Ogun state is said to the candidate of power behind the politics of Lagos state, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and favoured choice of former governor Aremo Olusegun Osoba.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Aremo Osoba both have history of enmity that runs deep with Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

According to findings Amosun is especially irked that Aremo Osoba and Asiwaju Tinubu though in the same party with him are working hand in glove to install a candidate of their choice as his successor – while he retains control of the party structure in the state.

The governor is said to be doing all possible within his might to frustrate the plot and position his own man, Senator Gbolahan Dada from Ogun west (the zone Yayi’s is laying claim to).

Interestingly Governor Amosun is said to have muscled Yayi out of the politics of Ogun state by backing the emergence of Dada, the son of a late traditional ruler from the zone as a Senator.

‘’Yayi actually sought to become a Senator from Ogun state…he had started campaigning, the idea was to become a Senator representing Ogun west and use the position as a leap pad to become governor but Amosun outwitted the plot and forced him out in a very spirited political fight’’ a source explained.

‘’and it is more interesting that it was the Aremo Osoba SDP structure that Amosun roundly trounced in the last general election that they are reawakening for Yayi…the structure that was so beaten it couldn’t return Osoba’s son to the House of Reps’’ a source pointed out.

A source explained to Societynowng.com that faced with the hard stance of Governor Amosun, the handlers of Yayi have opted for the move of quietly reawakening and transforming the SDP structure into a major force, while at the same time wrestling with Amosun for the control of Ogun APC.

‘’The idea is to have a strong structure built overtime while in the worst case scenario hoping to share in the APC support base to add to it to achieve their aim….against the background of the turbulence that afflicts the rival People’s Democratic Party in the state’’ a keen observer explained.

But for this move societynowng,com gathered at present the Senator hoping to become the next governor of ogun state lacks a political base in that part of the country.

‘’He is more popular in Lagos, even in Yewa that he is coming out as gubernatorial aspirant he enjoys limited popularity…but with this plot and the emerging efforts of Aremo Osoba right hand man Kayode Odunaro things will change for the better for him’’ an insider analysed.
