The Senatorial candidate of the Action Democratic Party in Kogi East, Victor Alewo Adoji’s political campaign was attacked today- Monday, January 21, 2019.

The thugs armed with dangerous weapons reportedly attacked Adoji’s political rally in Ejule, Ofu Local government area.

The candidate was said to have escaped terminal injury by whiskers via the valiant efforts of aides that whisked him away.

Some of the ADC Senatorial candidate’s supporters sustained injuries and lost properties according to information available.
Pointing accusing fingers at ‘’suspected APC’’ thugs, Adoji reacted to the development with the post reproduced by societynow.ng

“The slowing down in the movement of the lion is not in anyway an evidence of fear, but in actual fact, a tactical disposition.”

DVAA’S RESPONSE TO SUSPECTED APC THUGS INVASION OF DVAA RALLY IN EJULE, OFU LGA TODAY JANUARY 21, 2019.

Yes, a misguided and ragtag motley group of young men invaded the arena with guns, machetes and molotov-cocktail primarily to hurt, disparage and discourage citizens who were invited for something as innocuous as a meeting meant to share and receive ideas.

We are not in a state of interregnum and as humans we are still governed by rules and laws in our various engagements and socialization.

The agent provocateurs are known and one thing is sure: Agbu uche’ eni jeh, agbu ule ene le!

For now, “when they go low, we go high”.

In the meantime, I beseech all our supporters to be restrained by the superior humanness and resist the temptation to recline into bestiality like our traducers and knee-jack adversaries.

I condole with the injured and those who lost various items and assure that, we shall prevail ultimately.

We shall continue to focus on our issue/renaissance-based campaign and resist the temptation to be drawn into the mud. I must add that the “slowing down in the movement of the lion is not in anyway an evidence of fear” but in actual fact, a tactical disposition.
