International Deal Windfall For Gbenga Daniels, As Ex Gov Assumes Power Behind The Throne Status In Politics

Former Governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel just perfected a mega international deal.

Insiders disclosed to societynowng.com that this development comes as he assumes the status of ‘power behind the throne politically’.

Otunba Gbenga Daniels based on his wealth of professional expertise and contacts is said to have secured a ‘big slice of the pie’.

He is said to be involved ‘elevators construction’ based on affiliations with this and that foreign companies.

‘The deal is a big one and from what I can deduce, a sweet one…big money maker’ a source squealed.

His influence in the party, especially at the state level suffered a big hit- that he never recovered from- with the emergence of Kashamu Buruji (now Senator) as a leader of his party.

Otunba Daniel had initially moved his political structure from PDP to PPN on to Labour Party from making a return with it to PDP.

By the time he returned with his structure Kashamu, a political adversary in the same party had become a force to be reckon with.

The hold of Kashamu on the party is such that he single handedly provided the gubernatorial candidate of the party, as well as other positions including becoming a Senator through a ticket the former governor showed interest in.

Kashamu currently battling drug trafficking accusations is said to officially retain control of the PDP structure in Ogun state.
