Insiders Tell Tinubu’s Position In Daniel, Abiodun’s Raging Feud

Insiders have revealed the position of President Bola Tinubu in the raging feud between Governor Dapo Abiodun and Senator Gbenga Daniel.

“He remains non-committal, although bigwigs within the Presidency and the party have waded in,” sources said.

The President’s name has reportedly been bandied about in the interventions, but Tinubu is yet to make any personal pronouncement, according to insiders.

Daniel and Abiodun are currently in the throes of an all-out supremacy tussle over who will occupy the Ogun East Senatorial seat in the next political dispensation.

Daniel, a former two-term governor and the incumbent senator, is seeking a second term in office, while Abiodun is believed to be positioning to take over at the end of his tenure.

Abiodun’s tenure as a two-term governor ends in 2027.

Both men are chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), and their rivalry has heightened tension within the party, especially in Ogun East.
