Inside Details As Reps Member Oluwole Oke Doles Out Funds To Support Adeleke, Ogunbiyi In Osun Guber Fight

The new power in the Osun state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party Oluwole Oke executed a major support move.

The House of Representatives member doled out support funds to gubernatorial aspirant Akin Ogunbiyi and party candidate Ademola Adeleke.

Societynow.ng learned Oke gave both Adeleke and Ogunbiyi Ten (10) million naira each.

According to societynow.ng sources, the fund is meant to help with the cost of their individual campaigns.

While Adeleke secured the party ticket as the gubernatorial candidate, Ogunbiyi the chairman of an insurance firm, Mutual Benefits Assurance has been compensated with a Senatorial ticket.

The Mutual Benefits Assurance boss had strenuously kicked against the emergence of Adeleke as the party candidate.

Societynow.ng gathered In appealing to Ogunbiyi to let go, party leaders had negotiated that the Mutual Benefits Assurance chairman produce the deputy governor candidate from his camp and offered him a Senatorial ticket.

A source told societynow.ng “that Ogunbiyi and Adeleke got same support fund from Oluwole Oke is part of gestures to appease the insurance boss”.

Oluwole Oke replaced Iyiola Omisore – after the latter’s defection to social democratic party – as the unofficial string puller in Osun PDP.
