Inside Details As Dayo Alebiosu Returns To Lagos Cabinet After 16yrs

Dayo Alebiosu, the grounded politician popularly known as D’Bush is making a return to the cabinet in Lagos state.

He has been penciled as a commisioner – designate by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

This appointment comes after 16 years that he served as a Special Assistant to the Governor on Housing – 2003 to 2007 – during the tenure of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The era – 2099 to 2007 – laid the foundation for the Lagos to become the reference point across all sectors and front runner campaign points that helped Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to become President of Nigeria.

D’Bush is making a return to top level participation in the affairs of Lagos state government armed with vital experience as a former two-term member of the Federal House of Representatives and improved professional and academic qualifications and hugely boosted by leadership training in diverse fields.

SocietyNow.Ng’s checks revealed as a Federal lawmaker between 2007 to 2015 (two term of 4 years each), Alebiosu was the Chairman of the House Committee on Treaties and Agreements & chairman subcommittee on Economic and Financial Crimes Committee (EFCC) at different times.

Andl served on  different committees which includes National Security, Petroleum (Upstream), Gas Resources, House Committee on Drugs, Narcotics and Financial Crime Committee, House Committee on National Security, House Committee on Finance, House Committee on Inter and Intra Party Relations Committee among others.

An Architect by profession, he is credited with sponsoring bills that include, the Tobacco Control Bill, the Air Passengers Rights Bill, the Alcohol Content Control Bill, Amendment to the PHCN Act on the Transfer of Liability to Occupiers, and Aviation Fuel Test –Laboratory Bill and motions on the payment of adequate compensation for Dana Air Crash Victims, Harmful Effects of Caffeinated Energy Drinks on Nigerians, investigation of the brutal ‘ALUU’ killing of four students of UNIPORT , Ratification and Domestication of all Treaties Signed by Nigeria.

Added digs by SocietyNow.Ng revealed that between 2015, when he last held a political office and now, Dayo Bush has amassed academic and professional qualifications such as Postgraduate Studies (PGD)- Strategic Leadership from Warwick University, United Kingdom (2022),  Master of Science (MSC)- Leadership and Management from University of Northumbria, Newcastle United Kingdom (2021) and Bachelor of Arts (BA)- Leadership and Management also from University of Northumbria, Newcastle United Kingdom (2016).
