Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a leading aspirant in the race to determine the next President of Nigeria has continued to talk up his qualification ahead of his party’s primary at the end of the month.

The party helped to form, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has scheduled its primary for May 31.

Tinubu is one of the few aspirants engaged in an intense campaign to rally delegates that will vote at the “indirect primary” to his side.

The heavyweight politician was in Niger State earlier today, May 13, 2022, to meet with the Governor Abubakar Sanni Bello and delegates from the state.

The presidential hopeful, according to a report monitored by SocietyNow.Ng on Dailypost.ng, told his audience “If they ask you to follow them (other aspirants), ask them where? They don’t know the road. I am the only person who knows the road. The only person you should follow is me. I won’t mislead you, they don’t have my brain. I am the smartest of them all.

“Everytime they keep saying, I am not well, I have travelled for medical attention, I have gone to Mecca, and they don’t have medical certificates. They said, I have bad legs as if I am their grandfather. Yeye people,”

Speaking on attempts to downplay his efforts in building political leaders, the former Governor declared“…They are all pointing accusing fingers at the wrong person. They are talking, the question is, how many counsellors, house of assembly members, state governors, senators and House of Representatives members have they produced? I alone have produced them all in this country.”

In responding at the meeting held in Minna, Governor Bello asked delegates whether they support Asiwaju’s Tinubu’s quest or not and got a resounding “Yes, we support him”.
