Guber Candidate Adekunle Akinlade, Main Backers Double Security Around Selves

House of Reps Member and candidate of Allied Peoples’ Movement in Ogun Adekunle Akinlade is very concerned about his personal safety – and that of his family member’s – at the moment.

Those who are familiar with the politician just divulged he has doubled the number of security operatives around himself and those that are very dear to him.

Adekunle Akinlade is the governorship candidate backed by incumbent governor Ibikunle Amosun.

Interestingly Ibikunle Amosun is standing for senatorial election on the platform of All Progressives Congress in Ogun Central.

Checks by our reporter revealed the Monday February 11,2019 ugly occurence at the ruling All Progressives Congress rally in Abeokuta as one of the major reasons responsible for new security step taken by the contender for the office of the governor of Ogun state.

The campaign saw agreived member allegedly loyal to Amosun dispstrupting the gathering while all sorts of dangerous weapon were freely used.

President Muhammadu Buhari among other party leaders like Adams Oshiomhole APC chair, Asiwaju Tinubu were reportedly pelted at the campaign venue.

Earlier report by societynow.ng indicated the development has created a lot of backlashes for governor Amosun who is said for be runing here and there to contain the situation.

And the heightened insecurity is said to have forced the Mr Akinlade – married to the former most beautiful girl in Nigeria, Chinenye Ochuba Akinlade – to add to number of security personnel he moves about with, an insider disclosed.

Further checks revealed most of the top guns of the party (APM) who also thought they could be singled out for attacks were said to have towed the same line.
